- Storyline Online: An online streaming video program where Screen Actors Guild members read children's books
- Big Universe: Read, create, and share children's books
- Tumble Books Online: While this is not a free site, often public libraries will subscribe to this site so you can get the access code from them as well
- Audible Kids: Listen to books online
- Free Classic Audio Books: Listen to your favorites online
- Loud Lit: Listen to classics online
- Fun Brain Reading: Play madlibs or read online
- Guided Reading Practice with Roy the Zebra: fun reading games
- Childtopia: stories to read online
What a great resource. Can't wait to explore those links. Wish I had seen this in time to forward to parents before school was out. My dad used to give us the option: four hours of summer school or one and one-half hours of supervised dad instruction. Another nice article with complementary reading (although low-tech print)tips is found at http://penningtonpublishing.com/blog/study_skills/summer-daily-brainwork/
